This page is still very much under construction, a full and proper write up will be done soon. Until then….

There are currently no available rescues

I rehomed all my rescues and surrenders before moving the aviary to Vancouver Island. I have been taking in new birds for a few months now, and am continuing to do so, and will have some available soon looking for their forever homes.

All birds are currently still in the rehab / recovery / resocialization phase, and just need more time to get back to where they should be. I plan on starting up rehoming adoptions starting in the summer and increasing in number going into the fall of 2026. This might change to a sooner date if large numbers of rescues and surrenders come in, as I only have room here for 30-40 birds. I have had as much as 250 birds here as rescues at one time, right after covid restrictions lifted, but just over 200 of those were budgies, much easier to keep than the larger birds. That was a very busy half year until they were all rehomed properly.

Whenever possible, I pair up the birds, as most birds do much better in bonded pairs where they can keep each other company, entertain each other, and help each other feel more secure.
