Here you will find all the videos that feature the babies here at Little Joe’s! You can watch them eating, playing, resting and just being babies. There are separate playlists for the handfeeding videos, the companionship vidoes, the peeks into the brooders and the videos of free play and lap time. I have been breeding and raising parrots for a long time now, but only recently begun making these videos, so expect quite a few more to be added frequently from now on!
Here you will find all the handfeeding demonstrations videos of the babies currently in handfeeding. Each video will show the babies being handfed, and also have tips and instructional commentary. A great way to learn how each breed of parrot is just a little bit different, and the different techniques that are used in handfeeding each. New videos from each batch of babies will be uploaded every week or so, allowing you to watch them grow and develop over time.
This playlist will contain all my "Peek into the Brooders" videos. These are put out every week or so, and show all the babies currently in the brooders for handfeeding here, as well as the babies that have just come out of the brooders and are in the grow up cages. Great way to see how the babies are doing, how they are growing and progressing through the handfeeding and training program here.
Great videos to play for those who have one of my handfed babies newly in their homes. The sights and sounds of where they grew up, with all their friends, can really help with the stress of a transition to a new home with their new people. Helps the babies feel more comfortable, encourages them to eat and play and explore.
Also great to play for any birds who might be home alone during the day, might be feeling lonely or are stressed. Birds are flock animals, and seeing more of their kind being calm and just being birds helps with a feeling of security, comfort and companionship.
A collection of all the videos of the babies here in the handfeeding program. Once they are a little older, they can begin spending time outside with me, getting used to interacting with a person and exploring their environment. As they get older they start to engage more in play and exploration, eventually learning to fly. Always important to have lots of contact time with the babies each day, showing them that they can rely on their people for not only food and the basic necessities, but also for fun, comfort and companionship. Plus, it is always a lot of fun to spend time each evening with the little ones!
