Using Apple Cider Vinegar

A small bird with ruffled feathers stands on a green towel next to a bottle of Bragg organic apple cider vinegar on a kitchen counter.

Apple Cider Vinegar for Bird's Health! Would like to share with everyone something that has worked very well for me, apple cider vinegar for birds. ACV works as an antiseptic, and the organic nature works as a probiotic for birds. This helps keep birds healthy, and is a great preventative measure as well as a treatment for many bacterial and fungal problems birds can have with their crop and digestive system. I highly recommend everyone picking up a baby from me use this in the birdie's water, 50uL (one drop) in every ounce of water is what I have been using here as a preventative measure for quite some time now, used once a week or so. Make sure that you only use Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the "Mother" in it, as this is the kind with the beneficial properties. Feel free to do your own research, quite a bit out there on the internet about this, just remember the little grain of salt as while this is beneficial it is not a supercure or anything like that. Higher doses can be used to treat problems such as AGYD, but should be done with care and treatment programs should not last longer than 10 days. I believe so strongly in this that I will be offering for sale bottles of the ACV I use pretty much at cost to people picking up babies from me. Also in the picture is one of the upcoming baby cockatiels wearing a fashionable little crop bra. If anyone is having troubles with a cockatiel with slow crop, ask me for details on making and using a bra, will save a baby cockatiel's life.
